Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC)

The Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC) program is a refundable tax credit that covers eligible labour, marketing, and distribution expenses for Ontario companies who are developing interactive digital multimedia products. Example eligible projects include games, educational / training / e-learning, and informational products.

For eligible Ontario labour, contractor, and marketing and distribution expenditures incurred the OIDMTC program covers up to 40% of these costs for eligible products. Marketing & distribution expenditures are capped at $100K per eligible product, while there is no limit to the labour and contractor expenses claimed.
